INVENTIONS
AND
CULTURAL BEHAVIOUR

About the project

We are seven partner schools working on a two-year ERASMUS+ KA219 project (2016-1-LT01-KA219-023185_1) with the above title, which we initiated on 1st October 2016.
We are from:
  • Lithuania (coordinating country)
  • Italy
  • Poland
  • Romania
  • Slovenia
  • Spain
  • Turkey
Our aim is to develop students’ skills in Science and Mathematics as well as improve the knowledge of foreign languages and IT skills. We also include analyzing the history of inventions and the ability to apply it in daily activities and future life. The acquired knowledge will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about Science studies and help choose a profession. Implementing the project which combines cultural aspects with history and technology we are planning to get the students ready to become citizens of a multicultural, multiracial and multilingual society. We are also planning to encourage their ability to interact with people speaking different languages which we consider to be a very beneficial skill. It is not possible to achieve this working separately. However, the common efforts provide our students, staff and communities with the opportunity to reach this goal. This project will undoubtedly improve learning and teaching quality in all partner schools.
In the project we will analyse certain inventions selected during project activities and human cultural behaviour before their appearance and its later changes caused by those inventions.
The common topics that we are planning to analyse:
Old and new inventions in food technologies.
Old and new inventions in communication technologies.
Old and new inventions in chemistry and medicine.

On this website we will publish information about the effects of our joint work.
